Wednesday Rambling

 Life is windy, rainy, and kind of depressing. Both little boys are sick (hand, foot and mouth disease) and the littlest grandson still doesn't like to sleep at night. (or during the day either)




I don't like the way these top two photos crisscrossed; I'll need to figure that out.



But at least this picture of me walking in the wind isn't sideways like it appears on Typebad. (new name for my primary blogging site)

      I'm contemplating a change, Bruce. It's hard though since there are advantages and disadvantages to Blogger, Wordpress and Typepad.

    I am still much more used to typepad than to blogger, but I could have a couple blogs. Maybe? Do you get my response to your comment, Bruce? I'm just wondering if blogger does that.

    Your Typepad erased itself from my bloglist. I finally realized I could track you down by your comments. Not too bright.
    All the boys are growing. I guess the littlest guy needs to keep growing the most, to catch up his real self with his birth date.

      You're right, Joanne! Tiny One does need to catch up. Typepad has been very frustrating lately but I am still over there--for now. I'm testing out WordPress and Blogger; there are advantages to both.

    The thought of having to get off Blogger fills me with dread. I looked at Wordpress, too complicated! I miss Live Writer from Microsoft, but they killed it rather than maintain it. Good luck to you with the search for a new platform.

      Hi there-thanks for stopping by. I was contemplating using this blog when typepad was down for a long time, but then it got fixed. (eventually!) So I'm back to blogging at http://teacherwoman.typepad.com
      If anything more goes wrong with typepad, I'll probably end up here or WP which I do find more complicated although also more customizable.

Testing My Mettle

 If (or is it when?) my Typepad blog dies, perhaps I will quit blogging. Twenty years is a long time and how much writing do I have left in me? However, I like to have some options, so here I am...back at Blogger to occasionally test it out with posts. Actually, I'm more testing myself; can I adapt to change? Am I willing to stumble around on a new site, trying to figure things out? CAN THIS OLD DOG LEARN NEW TRICKS?  Those of you who know me from Stargazer are aware that I love to post photos and they usually jump start my writing, which then tends to meander around. Life is like that though, isn't it? It doesn't go in a straight line, so why should my blog? Here I'm seeing how inserting a picture works. This mobile grooming van in my neighborhood had an interesting name! I'm not sure how to work with the formatting though. It is crooked and doesn't look good.
